El Día de los Niños Program

For Ages 3 and up

Special Family Program:

El Abuelo (also known as The Tree and the Donkey Who Loved to Sing)  is a bilingual, participatory story exploding with the song, ancient musical instruments, poly-rhythms and sweet characters of Mexican music and dance. In this story, you will meet the donkey and its jawbone, the Abuelito and the vulture, the owl and the iguana, and the instruments that come from the tree. Children are invited to sing, dance and play with beautiful traditional songs and dances.

Performed by Cascada de Flores, who are celebrating 20 years of performing, educating and recording. Their performances are at once humorous while universally heartwarming.

No registration needed. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Please come early as space and parking are limited.
