The Everett N. "Eddie" Souza Community Garden located at 2380 Monroe St., will be open Thursday, Dec 17 from 3 - 5pm for self-guided garden tours for all. City staff will be on site to show guests what's happening in the garden and answer gardening questions. Bring a reusable bag as guests typically do not leave empty handed. Share with us what you find on the garden tour or your garden at home by using #ThisWeekInTheGarden  and #SantaClaraGrows on social media.

#ThisWeekInTheGarden at Eddie Souza, city staff focuses on food waste diversion and compost! The Garden displays a variety of bins you can install in your backyard or balcony. Bring your holiday gourds and pumpkins to the community garden help feed the worms. Donated pumpkins will feed the education worm bin and provide “greens” for the garden compost bin. All programs will follow State and County health orders including wearing of a face covering and six feet social distancing.
