Join us at a virtual information and input session on worker recall and retention on Monday, November 16, 2020 from 6 to 7 p.m. or Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom (details below).
The ongoing COVID-19 public health emergency has severely impacted building service, food service and hotel workers. Many have already been separated from their jobs and many more are expected to face separation in the coming months.
The City of Santa Clara recently approved an Emergency Worker Recall Ordinance giving service workers the right to return to their previous jobs as the economy reopens. Attend an upcoming session to learn more about how this impacts you or your company.
The City is considering revising the current Worker Retention Ordinance to permanently add hotel workers as a covered employee group. Before the item is presented to City Council, we want to hear from you. Attend an upcoming session to let your voice be heard.
