The City of Santa Clara, together with The Salvation Army and Second Harvest Food Bank, will provide Santa Clara families free essential food items through the Food For Families program.
This year, the need in our community is great and the City continues to find ways to help our local community. The City of Santa Clara, together with The Salvation Army and Second Harvest Food Bank, will provide Santa Clara families free essential food items through the Food For Families program.
About Food For Families
- FREE essential food items for all Santa Clara residents.
- Pre- register one time only.
- Drive-thru and contactless pick up service – stay in your car and we will load your food!
- CLEAR TRUNKS: Make sure there is ample space in your TRUNK for a large quantity of food (2-3 boxes). Due to COVID-19 safety protocols, food will NOT be placed in back seats of vehicles.

- All families MUST SIGN UP before you pick up your food.
- Download the one-page form in English & Spanish.
- Complete the form and email form to: gina.noble@usw.salvationarmy.org OR
- Enroll in person, pick up a form, or drop off a completed form at The Salvation Army (3090 Homestead Rd. Santa Clara) Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parking lot near the mail box. Forms are available at this location.
