Participate in Public Meetings

The City of Santa Clara encourages the community to participate in public meetings. Public meetings may be held in a hybrid format (with both in-person and online attendance options), virtually (completely online), or in-person only. Information about how to watch and participate in public meetings, view meeting agendas, submission of written/digital materials by the public at City Council meetings, and submission of written public comment at City Council meetings can be found below.

Placemaking - Creating the City of the Future

Presentation by internationally recognized place making expert and founder of the Project for Public Spaces, Fred Kent.

Public space and placemaking today are located at the intersection of many global issues—from health to sustainability, innovation to equity. Fred Kent will inspire you with the ideas and new directions for the future of placemaking, and with exciting new opportunities for leveraging this convergence. Fred will share examples from his practice of what communities can accomplish with successful Placemaking. He will also discuss the strategies for advancing and implementing placemaking locally and globally.
