Participate in Public Meetings

The City of Santa Clara encourages the community to participate in public meetings. Public meetings may be held in a hybrid format (with both in-person and online attendance options), virtually (completely online), or in-person only. Information about how to watch and participate in public meetings, view meeting agendas, submission of written/digital materials by the public at City Council meetings, and submission of written public comment at City Council meetings can be found below.

Tasman East Specific Plan Community Meeting

  • Date: 06/07/2018 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

 The City is holding the fourth community meeting for the Tasman East Specific Plan. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the draft plan, including urban design, streetscapes, parkland configuration and strategies for connectivity. The meeting will be held in an open house format.

The Tasman East Specific Plan will create a framework for the development of a high density transit-oriented neighborhood (currently proposed to be 100+ Dwelling units per acre), along with supportive retail services. The project area is an existing industrial neighborhood 45 acres in size, and is bounded by Tasman Drive to the south, the Guadalupe River to the East, the Santa Clara golf course to the north, and Lafayette Street to the west.
