August 15, 2018 - Adopting Zero Waste Behaviors
Community Recreation Center - Arts and Crafts Room 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Are you interested in adopting a new zero waste habit, such as composting, refusing straws, or bringing your own takeout container to restaurants? Maybe you would like to encourage your family members or friends to do the same. This workshop will help you gain the knowledge and skills to turn your environmental behavior change goals into action. Through this workshop, participants will be able to recognize common “myths” of environmentally responsible behaviors, and learn how to use research-supported strategies to encourage zero waste actions. Please register at www.SantaClaraCA.gov/Sustainability.
