Grand Opening of San Tomas and Monroe Neighborhood Park and Community Garden

Santa Clara is a “buzz” with excitement about opening of Santa Clara’s newest 2-acre park, located along the San Tomas/Aquino Creek Trail, featuring open play space, plant/pollinator garden, barbeques, off leash dog area, and state of the art community garden. In an ode to Santa Clara’s past, the new neighborhood park showcases the rich heritage of the region while integrating active gathering spaces. On Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 10:00 am, community members are invited to join the City of Santa Clara for the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of San Tomas and Monroe Neighborhood Park and Community Garden. At the grand opening, community members are invited to hear the mayor’s remarks, take a guided tour of the park, and enjoy light refreshments and fun giveaways.
