Public Meeting Calender

Free Jazz Performance by Charged Particles

Presented by the City of Santa Clara Cultural Commission as part of the Friday Night Live series, this program strives to bring together culture, entertainment and education.

This Friday, April 5th, at the Triton Museum (1505 Warburton Ave.) from 7:30-9 p.m., enjoy a free, razzle dazzle, electrifying jazz performance by Charged Particles. Celebrating their 26th anniversary, Charged Particles is hot on the jazz scene in the Bay Area, across the country, and internationally. Featuring the Bay Area's favorite Afro-Latin jazz keyboardist, Murray Low, along with the inventive and sophisticated acoustic and electric bassist, Aaron German, and fiery drummer Jon Krosnick (who has performed with Chick Corea), the band plays funky Latin jazz and more, brimming with remarkable virtuosity, powerful grooves, engaging arrangements with twists and turns, tightly synched ensemble playing, and a wide range of emotions.

Seating on the evening of the event will be first-come, first-served. This is a free, family-wide event, and we encourage patrons of all ages to attend to this program. No pre-registration is needed to attend this event.

For more information, call the Cultural Commission staff liaison at (408) 615-3192. You and your child’s attendance at any Santa Clara Parks & Recreation Department sponsored event constitutes your permission for photographs to be used for promotional purposes.
