The death of a loved one is the most profound of all sorrows. The grief that comes with such a loss is intense and multifaceted, affecting our emotions, our bodies, and our lives. Everyone grieves differently and there is no right way or right answer of how to cope when someone dies.
But you don’t have to do it alone! Being with a group of people who understand and validate your process is a first step toward the healing process. Our support group will offer a safe and compassionate place to explore the complex emotions of loss and provide tools and strategies as we build a community of hope and connection.
Please e-mail Saraswathi Ram Mohan, MSW, at srmohan@santaclaraca.gov or call 408-615-3176 for details on the group and where to meet if you are interested.
