Zoning Code Update Workshop

  • Date: 02/28/2019 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

ZONING CODE UPDATE WORKSHOP

The Community Development Department is preparing a comprehensive update to the City of Santa Clara Zoning Code. The City of Santa Clara’s current Zoning Code has not been comprehensively updated since it first came into effect in 1969.  The main objective of the Zoning Code Update is to simplify and modernize the existing code. In addition to providing the community with an overview of the Zoning Code, attendees will be asked to provide input on: parking, single family design standards, long term and short term residential rental regulations, and the creation of new zoning districts. Community participation is a key part of the Zoning Code Update. The City will be holding two community workshops on February 13th and February 28th to provide an opportunity for community members to provide input on the process and identify key issues.

Thursday, February 28, 2019, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Northside Library Branch - Northside Community Room

Please contact Associate Planner Elaheh Kerachian for any questions regarding these meetings at 408-615-2450, or via email at ekerachian@santaclaraca.gov
