NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Santa Clara has determined and fixed its regularly scheduled meeting on June 23, 2020 at the hour of 2:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 1500 Warburton Avenue, Santa Clara, California, as the location, date, and time to conduct a public hearing to consider the passage of a resolution as follows:

"RESOLUTION TO LEVY AN ANNUAL ASSESSMENT FOR THE SANTA CLARA TOURISM IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (TID) FOR FISCAL YEAR 2020/21."

The purpose of the public hearing is to allow lodging businesses subject to the TID assessment an opportunity to submit comments, voice concerns, and protest the assessment. Lodging businesses subject to the assessment may submit written comments prior to, or make oral presentations, at the public meeting.

Information relating to the item above is available for public inspection in the City Clerk's Office, City Hall, 1500 Warburton Avenue, Santa Clara, California and on the City’s website at www.santaclaraca.gov/.

A limited number of staff may be present at the meeting as well as staff and the public may be participating remotely. To meet appropriate social distance requirements, a limited number of individuals can be present in the City Council Chambers at a given time.
