Dr. Inkeles grew up in the Bay Area and went to Stanford University where she studied bioinformatics. She then moved to UCLA where she earned her MD and a PhD in bioinformatics focusing on the immunology of skin diseases. After doing her residency training in Dermatology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, she moved back home to California where she works at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, practicing both general and complex medical dermatology.
