CENTRAL: How to Plan a Vegetable Garden

vegetables mg

Learn from a Santa Clara County Master Gardener about how to plan your vegetable garden. It's a good idea to research what vegetables would do well in your own garden before investing in seeds or plants. The presenter will walk you through choosing the best location for the garden, checking your soil, choosing your plants, and figuring out how much to water and fertilize.

About the speaker: Laura Westley has been a Master Gardener since 2009.  She loves to grow plants from seed, and has a year-round vegetable garden and ornamental garden. She volunteers at Martial Cottle Park growing seedlings for Master Gardener Fairs and helping with the ornamental beds. She always says, "Every day I am with a Master Gardener, I learn something new."

No registration required. Seating is first-come, first-served. If you wish to receive e-mail reminders, you can register on Eventbrite (optional).
