In June 2018, four State of the City events were held throughout the City of Santa Clara at the Teen Center, Community Recreation Center, Don Callejon School and the Senior Center.

Mayor Lisa M. Gillmor gave the State of the City Address, an overview of recent accomplishments, discussed upcoming City activities, and provided updates on ongoing and new projects. City Manager Deanna J. Santana outlined key initiatives, budget priorities, and opportunities for residents to get engaged in the City of Santa Clara.
