County Assistance - Homelessness Prevention System
The Homelessness Prevention System (HPS) program provides assistance to low-income families or individuals in the County of Santa Clara who are at risk of losing their housing. Services include temporary financial assistance, legal support, case management and other services. For more information on the program and how to get services please visit: https://preventhomelessness.org/. To find out if you qualify, you can schedule a 'pre-screening' appointment by calling 408- 926-8885, emailing info@preventhomelessness.org, or contacting any of the participating agencies listed on the HPS program flyer. All agencies on the flyer can assist Santa Clara residents. They are no longer limited by zip code. We recommend starting with these agencies:

Eviction Resources
If you have received an eviction notice or believe one is pending, contact Project Sentinel at (408)720-9888. Their staff can explain what rights and responsibilities you have and also help with resolving tenant/landlord conflicts.
