City of Santa Clara
MenuFreedom Circle Focus Area
On June 7, 2022, the City Council approved the Freedom Circle Focus Area Plan in northern Santa Clara, which establishes the future capacity and an overall vision for a new, high-density mixed-use community. Although this area was long envisioned to remain a commercial center that combines office and industrial uses, significant redevelopment interest has provided impetus for the City to explore the inclusion of housing in the area in fulfillment of citywide goals and policies.
