The Purchasing Division is responsible for the disposition of surplus property pursuant to section 2.105.350 of the City Code. When a department wishes to retire an asset, it is transferred to the Purchasing Division who will perform internal outreach to see if the item can be re-purposed within the organization. If there is no interest, the item will then be sold to the general public using GovDeals, which is an internet auction service for government surplus.

Successor Agency Real Property
