The Fire Administration Division is located at the department headquarters at Fire Station 1, 777 Benton Street. Fire Administration provides management, organization, and support for the various divisions of the Fire Department actively engaged in the protection of life and property. This is accomplished through fiscally responsible budgeting and purchasing; coordination with other departments for maintenance of buildings, grounds, apparatus, and equipment; processing of payroll and personnel actions; and forecasting and planning for future departmental needs.
