MenuFile Review Requests
The Community Risk Reduction Division provides files for public review upon request. There is no charge to review available files. However, the Division charges a $1.00 per page copying fee ($.20 per page if the requestor makes their own copies on our copy machine). Some historical records are on microfiche. A microfiche copier is available, and the charge is $1.00 per page. There is no charge if the requestor provides their own copier. The Division provides access to the following types of files:
- Hazardous Materials Management Plans/Inventory Statements
- Existing Underground Tanks
- Removed Underground Tanks (some on microfiche)
- Annual and Quarterly Reports on Contaminated Sites
- Hazardous Materials Closure Reports (usually on microfiche)
The following items are available, but it can require up to 10-business days lead-time to process the request. A form (PDF) is available to request these file types. There is also a $1.00 per page charge for the following items:
- Incident Reports
- Inspection Reports
Appointments for file reviews can often be made within 24 to 48 hours. Please call 408-615-4970 to schedule a file review appointment. Drop in file reviews are not accepted.
