The theme for this year, "Where You Belong," highlights how park and recreation professionals cultivate a sense of belonging by providing inclusive programs, vital services for individuals of all ages and abilities, and secure, accessible areas for create meaningful connections. 

4th of July Celebration

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of Westwood Oaks Park

July 10 at 10 a.m.

You're invited to the Westwood Oaks Park, 460 La Herran Dr., for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the rehabilitated playground! Following the ceremony, enjoy the improvements made to the playground, connect with fellow community members and celebrate the successful completion of this project. More Info

Garden Workshop: HoneyBees

July 10 at 5 p.m.

Gather at Eddie Souza Park & Garden, 2380 Monroe St., for an immersive workshop on CA native bees vs. European honeybees! Learn all about the importance of bees and the important role they play across the world. More Info
