Help Keep the Roads in your Community Safe

"Please Slow Down" is an initiative by the City of Santa Clara to encourage slower driving speeds to improve traffic safety and quality of life in our city. Driving slower increases roadway safety for all users including pedestrians, bicyclists, and the motoring public. Take a moment to slow down and enjoy the ride while being alert to your surroundings. 

Yard signs with traffic safety messages are available free of charge to City of Santa Clara residents. To pick up a yard sign, visit the following locations:

• City Hall: Permit Center, 1500 Warburton Avenue, Santa Clara, CA 95050
• Department of Public Works Corporation Yard: 1700 Walsh Avenue, Santa Clara, CA 95050
