The 2022 State of the City address and Community Awards were held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Community Recreation Center in Santa Clara.

Mayor Lisa M. Gillmor presented the 2022 State of the City address to the Santa Clara community, and the Mayor and Council presented community awards to groups or individuals who have made an impact in Santa Clara. The Presentation of Colors and Pledge of Allegiance was conducted by local Troop 394 and Troop 2394.

District 2 Community Award - Presented by Councilmember Raj Chahal to Hassnain Malik 

District 3 Community Award - Presented by Councilmember Karen Hardy to Tom Freitas

District 4 Community Award - Presented by Councilmember Kevin Park to Harjinder Pal

District 5 Community Award - Presented by Vice Mayor Suds Jain to Ana Vargas-Smith

District 6 Community Award - Presented by Councilmember Anthony Becker to Stan's Donuts
