Participate in Public Meetings

The City of Santa Clara encourages the community to participate in public meetings. Public meetings may be held in a hybrid format (with both in-person and online attendance options), virtually (completely online), or in-person only. Information about how to watch and participate in public meetings, view meeting agendas, submission of written/digital materials by the public at City Council meetings, and submission of written public comment at City Council meetings can be found below.

“BE STRONG, LIVE LONG” Health & Wellness Fair

“BE STRONG, LIVE LONG” Health & Wellness Fair

Friday, May 18th, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join the Santa Clara Senior Center for the second annual Health & Wellness Fair in Fremont Park (next to the Senior Center), to celebrate and support older adults who are working to improve their own health and who are also caring for their older family members.  With more than 30 Exhibitor booths specializing in health issues, attendees can:

· Gather information on how to age in place

· Take part in free Hearing and Vision Screenings (thanks to Lions Club Santa Clara)

· Tap into community resources

· Get your lumps and bumps skin checks by the Kaiser Comprehensive Cancer Care Mobile Van

· Tour the Senior Center

· Check out the NEW Bookmobile from the Santa Clara Library

This special event will be packed full of helpful information, healthy living tips, food, music, and fun….You won’t want to miss it!  BBQ lunch will be available for $5.00 between 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.

This event sponsored by City of Santa Clara, Kaiser Permanente and the Santa Clara Senior Advisory Commission.
