The Santa Clara Police Building is located at 601 El Camino Real. The Police lobby is open for walk-in service; click here for hours.

Crimes in progress and emergencies should be reported immediately by calling 9-1-1, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Individuals can come to the Police Building with questions for an on-duty Police Officer, to report non-emergency incidents, have a mechanical violation signed off, obtain a copy of a Police Report, drop off unwanted or expired over the counter and/or prescription drugs and file a commendation, inquiry or complaint. If you are the victim of a crime that occurred in the City of Santa Clara, you can also complete and submit your initial Crime Report online.

An appointment is required for many services; please call for specific details.

Email messages are generally answered weekdays during normal business hours. If your question/comment pertains to crime in progress or emergency situation, please call 9-1-1. E-mail submissions should only pertain to general inquiries.
