Conservation
Since 1987, water use has dropped significantly while the City's population continues to rise; clearly, conservation has become a way of life in Santa Clara. The graph shows the City's conservation despite the population increase.
In addition to reduced water use, Santa Clara's award-winning Recycled Water Program directly offsets potable water demand, controlling water demand and following through with the City's conservation goals.
