council districtsRedistricting occurs every 10 years after each U.S. Census. Santa Clara is required to update the boundaries of its six districts based on the 2020 U.S. Census data.

Map Adoption

On Monday, February 28, 2022, the City of Santa Clara Independent Redistricting Commission voted to adopt Map 4A for the City of Santa Clara.  The Commission will present Map 4A to Mayor and Council at the March 22, 2022 City Council Meeting.
